High-performance plastic pipes made from PPS-GR
The modular Profitherm heat exchanger consists of PPS-GR tubes, which are characterised by a high-performance composite material made of polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) and graphite (GR). This combination brings together the exceptional chemical resistance of polymers with a level of thermal conductivity that is uniquely high for plastics. As a result, PPS-GR heat exchangers enable reliable heat recovery even below the acid and water dew points – applications in which conventional materials such as stainless steel quickly reach their limits.
High durability and easy to clean
The heat exchanger tubes can withstand operating temperatures of up to 400°C whilst remaining cool.
Its dirt-repellent surface reduces build-up, makes cleaning easier and thus ensures consistently high operational reliability. The result: longer service life, less downtime and lower maintenance costs.
